On-The-Job Training and Employee Performance

The project was about on the job training and employee performance in the ministry of labour. The research took place between the month of June to December 2014. The study was prompted by the fact that delivery of services had deteriorated and the researcher felt that this is due to lack of on the job training or ineffective training programmes which could not yield organizational productivity Objectives of the study were; The purpose of the study was to investigate how effective the employee training and Development was for any organization, to discuss the current practices in organizations for training and development that are supposed to contribute to the enhancement of employee’s skills and performance, to evaluate the role of management personnel on effective employee training and development program on enhancing employee performance, to identify the link between on-the-job training and performance of the organization
